HELP OUT IN OUR DAY CENTER! A safe and secure haven for families, offering everything they need to feel at
home – showers, laundry facilities, phone, mailing address, computers, and common eating and lounge areas.  This is where staff works with the families to help them find permanent housing and address the issues that led them to be homeless.

• Children activities

• Adult classes (i.e. nutrition, job development, life skills, parenting)

• Transportation for job interviews, doctor’s appointments and to make housing searches

• Homework Help

• Office Angels: Volunteers needed to help around the office. We will work with your schedule!

• Sunday Office Volunteers answers the phone, help families prep for moving to the new host congregation, and are a welcoming presence for our guests. This is a great way to volunteer with a parent.

WE WANT TO GROW OUR FAMILY OF CONGREGATIONS! At partner congregations, each family and hosts are provided a private room with beds at the congregation, as well as common dinners and breakfasts all home-cooked by host congregation volunteers.
Host are needed to:

• Bring and serve meals

• Dine with the families

• Stay overnight

• Set-up and take down rooms

• Get involved as a Host, Partner, or Support congregation!

CALLING ALL PROFESSIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPERS! Share your professional skills to make a direct impact by helping with resume writing, tutoring, teaching marketable skills, or in other areas. As a growing nonprofit, we benefit from volunteers’ professional skills on committees, in marketing, writing, design, social services, accounting, personnel, campaign building, web design... on our committees.
